About Stevie and Three

The idea for Stevie and Three came from a print I made for myself. I had just become self-employed and I wrote a note full of words to inspire myself into action and start living the life I’d imagined when I quit my job.

I posted it on my blog hoping others might get something from it too. The response was overwhelmingly positive and seeing how it resonated with other people got me thinking – we all need notes to ourselves full of words we want to live by.

I was inspired by the design of old tram and bus destination rolls. I liked the juxtaposition of printing words to live by in the style of something that was used on daily journeys.

About me, Clare Lancaster

I live in a small apartment in London on the grounds of an old university. I’m from Brisbane, Australia and in May 2011 my husband and I sold our things, rented out our apartment and set off on an adventure to live, work and play in Europe.

I’m a communication designer who has worked on the internet since 2001. I’ll always have a soft spot for digital but print and paper are my first true loves.

I’m happiest when I’m planning my next trip, looking at perfectly aligned type and sending a made to order print off to its owner.

Thanks for your interest in Stevie and Three. I hope we can work together on a special print for you soon. Join the mailing list to be notified when they custom prints become available.
